Did you get as far as the dessert and say, “What is Clafoutis?!“
Well, let us tell you a little about this classic, rustic French treat we’ll offer as the sweet ending of our Tuesday Lunch.
A clafoutis (pronounced ‘kla-foo-TEE’) is a dessert that originated in the south of France, traditionally made with whole, unpitted sweet black cherries. The firm-custard-like filling supports lots of cherries and often blanched almonds. Many people add a sprinkling of powdered sugar on top to finish it off.
Look for the recipe to be posted on our blog next week!
