Look for our own Chef Jill Garcia Schmidt to be spending more time in our kitchen classrooms this year. With a high demand for her cooking classes, she’s enthusiastically moving into the expanded role of Chef & Lead Instructor at The Culinary Center of Kansas City.
You’ve probably seen her representing us on local television and social media, as well as at our classes and private events. I’ll bet you’ve also seen her cutting veggies from the Overland Park Farmers Market on Saturday mornings as our Vegetable Butcher. What can’t this gal do?!
Chef Jill brings with her an energy that is contagious. She makes cooking fun, and she empowers everyone by explaining the processes and techniques in a clear, approachable way.
You can bet that Jill has some killer new ideas to bring to the table in this new role.
