Our Kitchen Shop™ has a whole new look… and feel and taste and touch and learn! Stop by ANYTIME to experience it but especially on Saturdays, when you’ll get a big fat dose of how we put our mad creativity skills to work to reinvent the way you experience our Kitchen Shop (actually the way you’ll experience ANY culinary retail store!)

Come experience The Kitchen Shop, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Vicky, Chicano in Charge here at The Culinary Center of Kansas City, will be in the kitchen making Farmers Market Fajitas. Stop by to try them and learn how to make this tasty and healthy dish. Snap a pic of the recipe and try them at home!
No need to register – just stop by between 9 a.m. and Noon.
Meet our 2019 Vegetable Butcher™ Chef Dana Holland
9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Chef Dana will be happy to clean and cut your market produce… and entertain you at the same time. And it’s FREE!! Heck, he may even have a few knife skills to teach you and recipes for you to try with your market treasures. (Ok, he will for sure.)
Bring your market produce purchases and get them cut by our Vegetable Butcher!
The Edge Doctor™ will be on duty in our Kitchen Shop! Bring your knives to be sharpened. We’ll do it on the spot, if possible – or drop them off, if you like. We can sharpen your Standard Knives (also called American or Western – e.g. chef, paring & boning knives) as well as your Contemporary Asian Knives (e.g., Santoku) for $3 each. Come on in and nibble on some tasty foods and drinks, including dishes from our Dinners on Demand™ menu. You’ll know you’re here when you pick up the intoxicating smells wafting from our door.
