The Culinary Center of Kansas City Named “Best Team-Building Experience” by Ingram’s Magazine
Nearly 30-year-old Culinary Arts Center wins top honor from Kansas City’s premier business publication
OVERLAND PARK, KS – July 19, 2025 – The Culinary Center of Kansas City (CCKC) has been selected as the “Best Team-Building Experience” in the Kansas City metropolitan area by Ingram’s Magazine readers in their 2025 survey, marking a significant achievement for the Midwest’s premier culinary arts destination.
The annual Ingram’s “Best of” awards, running since 1987, recognize excellence across dozens of categories based on votes from the magazine’s influential readership of business leaders and affluent consumers throughout the Kansas City region.
“We’re thrilled to receive this recognition from Ingram’s readers,” said Heather DeFeo Minor, General Manager of The Culinary Center. “Having hosted over 200 private and team-building events last year at our downtown Overland Park location, this award validates our commitment to creating exceptional culinary experiences that truly bring teams together.”
CCKC has served the Kansas City community for nearly three decades, offering cooking classes, interactive culinary events, private dining experiences, and team-building programs. The center operates from a beautifully restored 6,500-square-foot century-old buggy barn in historic downtown Overland Park.
