Culinary Center of Kansas City to open second metro location at The Village at Briarcliff
KANSAS CITY, Mo., January 5, 2026 –– The Culinary Center of Kansas City is set to open its second Kansas City metro area location in March 2026 at The Village at Briarcliff. The announcement marks the newest tenant in the premiere shopping, dining, and entertainment center in Kansas City’s Briarcliff West neighborhood just north of the Missouri River.
“People come to The Village at Briarcliff for dining, shopping, services and experiences, and The Culinary Center of Kansas City brings all those options together under one roof,” said Julie Andrews, President of The Village at Briarcliff. “From making memories in The Culinary Center’s kitchen to enjoying a mouth-watering meal while overlooking Kansas City’s iconic downtown skyline, there is something for everyone at The Village at Briarcliff.”
Founded in 1996, The Culinary Center of Kansas City is a premiere culinary arts center in the Midwest offering cooking classes, interactive cooking events, private dining experiences, and a curated retail shop. The Center currently operates nearly 600 classes and events each year in its flagship downtown Overland Park location.
The new location in The Village at Briarcliff brings The Culinary Center’s unique, local chef-driven experiences to the fast-growing region north of Kansas City. The new location will feature a commercial-grade teaching kitchen to host classes and private events, a retail area, and potential for local partnerships with other tenants.
“All around the world, food brings people together and creates memories that last a lifetime,” said Darren Palmet, co-owner of The Culinary Center of Kansas City along with Joe McConnell. “By opening our second location at The Village at Briarcliff, we are excited to continue to share those kitchen connections with even more of our city.”
The Culinary Center of Kansas City is scheduled to open in its new 3,125 square-foot space at 4161 North Mulberry in March 2026.
