elcome to The Culinary Center of Kansas City! The CCKC is a venue in Kansas City where fellow "culinarians", both skilled and unskilled, can gather together to celebrate the culinary arts in a variety of ways. The Center offers:

(a) contemporary classes & demonstrations in the culinary arts,
(b) unique event space for private and corporate entertaining,
(c) creative and affordable catering for private and corporate functions,
(d) teambuilding
(e) a culinary resource center, and
(f) selected inventory of cookbooks, software and unique culinary products and cookware.

Our hope is that the CCKC will act as an inspiration for the novice as well as the seasoned chef to learn more about the culinary arts and the ever-increasing role that food and wine plays in our lives. We believe strongly that "No one should be deprived of the pleasure and quality of life that beautifully prepared food and a little wine can bring." - Julia Child.

 The classes offered by the CCKC focus on dispelling the myth that cooking is difficult and mysterious. We believe that it is not private recipes or an arsenal of secret ingredients that make the home or professional chef, but rather, it is experience in applying fundamental cooking techniques, selecting seasonal and quality ingredients and handling food and equipment properly that provides the canvas for the artwork.

 Our repertoire of culinary instructors and guest chefs offer series and one-time "hands-on" classes with topics ranging from basic cooking methods, to cookware usage and maintenance to regional fare (such as Tuscan or Asian) to classes in nutrition and whole foods, as well as many others. It is our hope that anyone who shares even the slightest appreciation for fine food and wine will find a class offered by the CCKC which suits his or her interest and experience at an affordable cost. Our classes have had record success, filling quickly and containing many repeat students. We hope you will join us and experience the difference.

 The CCKC also offers a unique event space for hosting your special celebration or business meeting. The Center has been designed to accommodate most any event, from anniversary celebrations to book groups, private dinners, investment and dinner clubs and all types of business and board meetings. In addition, we have designed unusual theme celebrations centered around food and wine which you will not find elsewhere.

 The essence of the CCKC's catering services is on fresh, seasonal and healthful ingredients artfully presented and offered at an affordable cost. We take pride in the fact that we design each menu specifically for each client.
