The Summer Schedule of Cooking Classes and Culinary Events is so close to being finished I can almost smell it! Diana Cooper, wordsmith extraordinaire, and I have been “nose to the grindstone” for several weeks now working the calendar, pulling together the instructors’ recipes and class topics, interviewing new instructors, writing class texts, making arrangements with cookbook authors and publishers,  and just generally burning the midnight oil.   These last few weeks before a hard print deadline are daunting but let me tell you…it’s lookin’ good. We have some absolutely amazing culinary events and classes lined up, not the least of which is a Master Class and Dinner/Demonstration class with the amazing celebrity chef Sara Moulton. Whew! We’re tired and ready to turn over this baby. I guess you could call this midwivery: We birth it and then hand the newborn over to be enjoyed! Don’t get me wrong…we LOVE what we do. It’s in our bones….it really gets our “whisks a-workin'” as we put the schedule of classes together,  despite the challenge. So…humor us and take a look/see at our handywork. We hope to see you in our kitchens this summer! P.S. Some of the classes are already online and ready for registration.  The hard copy of the newsletter will be in your mailboxes (virtual and actual) by the end of the week or early next week.  But don’t look for Diana and me  for a few days…..we will be out celebrating the birth of another newsletter. I think massages, nice wine and beautiful food are in order, don’t you Diana?
