Check Out Our Newest BBQ Teambuilding Model!

Last week, members of the Voya Financial team participated in one of The Culinary Center of Kansas City’s “hottest” new teambuilding models – The Smokin’ Schoolhouse BBQ Competitions’ “Made in Kansas City” BBQ Rub & Sauce Challenge. 

Hey folks, we have been cookin’ up great interactive cooking parties for 17 years now!  This ain’t our first rodeo.

Spices were flyin’, burners were flamin’ and friendly banter was thrown between competitors, all with a goal to create the absolute BEST BBQ sauce and rub to represent their team and get it to the judges on time.  It was a fun and highly interactive activity that ensures that anyone who can stir a pot can catch the wave of Food TV style challenges… only this time it’s BBQ!  Not only did the Voya Financial folks have a great time together working in teams, they also learned some BBQ fundamentals.
