All Hands for Hunger

A Cooking Party with a Purpose.

Take corporate teambuilding to a whole new level as you feed the needs of your community AND have a unique interactive cooking experience with our All Hands for Hunger™ teambuilding model. Choose a charity from our list, then create a freezer full of dishes perfectly suited to the needs of that charity. We will ask a member of that organization to come to your event and explain exactly for whom you are cooking. Then your group will break out into teams and cook for those well-deserving folks, package them, include your own words of encouragement, and then celebrate your good deeds around the table together as you dine on a delicious meal. What a great way to build camaraderie and give back to KC all at the same time.

Recipes? Sure! You will choose from one of our menus, which are all designed to maximize nutrition and homemade goodness.

All Hands for Hunger Variations

With the following All Hands for Hunger variations, you will choose your own lunch, dinner or appetizer menu for your group, to be made by our CCKC chefs. However, please note that only the items mentioned will be made for donation:

All Hands in the Cookie Jar

Cooks and children’s storybooks come together for a sweet cause! Teams create and decorate homemade cookies to coincide with the theme of a popular children’s storybook. Then they decoratively package the cookies and book to warm the hearts of local kids in need. Then of course you’ll dine together on a delicious lunch, dinner or appetizer buffet. It’s a sweet story!

All Hands in the Pie Pan

Work in teams to create homemade apple pies for the pantries of KC’s most deserving shelters. Make a tasty connection with folks less fortunate. Celebrate your efforts with lunch, dinner or an appetizer buffet as part of the experience. Recipes? Of course!

All Paws for Hunger

Our four-legged friends in our local shelters need foodie love too! Work in teams to create homemade pet treats for our buddies located in the temporary shelters around the Kansas City area! Peanut Butter Barkers, Pumpkin Pupcakes, Woofer’s Doggie Dip and Good Boy Snacks are just a few. Package them and write words of encouragement to our little friends…well maybe the words are really for the tireless employees of these animal shelters shower love and protection on the dogs and cats they care for!
