Downtown Overland Park merchants who are active in the future of our special historic walkable community, meet once a month to throw around ideas and make plans for our 3rd Friday Local Life events. This month was a bit different though, as we are beginning the process of rolling out some unique plans for taking a whole new approach to how the public will experience Downtown Overland Park in 2016! Talk about a ‘meeting of the minds’! We settled on one thing for certain: we want to provide creative and unique experiences for our customers. Ideas were flowing and brainstorming vibes were in the air. We’ll have a strategic planning meeting in January to map out details for the year, but based on the preview at this week’s meeting – WOW, it’s going to be a blast here in the coming months. Stay tuned for details, but suffice it to say…. Downtown Overland Park is a place you’ll want to be!
