Serve these Sparkling Pretzels at your holiday festivities and make all your little elves happy! They were a hit at our gingerbread classes last weekend, along with our special hot chocolate. We had several requests for the recipe for that too. There’s really no recipe, actually – but we do add some cream and cinnamon to make it extra special and delicious.
Sparkling Pretzels
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 (16 ounce) bag of pretzels
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In a roasting pan add oil, sugar and cinnamon; stir to combine. Add pretzels and gently stir to coat well. Bake for 30 minutes, stirring twice. Remove from oven and spread pretzels on a sheet of wax paper to cool.
Makes 12 cups.
