Kids’ Cooking Classes at The Culinary Center of Kansas City are in high demand. They fill quickly and we respond by adding more when we can. So, we have added new classes and added seats in some others… and hopefully that will help in your holiday gift giving. But register soon – these seats will fill!

Cupcake Battle!

Junior Chefs (ages 9-14) learn the art of baking and decorating cupcakes and use their new-found craft to compete for the ‘Cupcake Master!’ Award. They’ll learn techniques of making great cupcakes including flavoring and coloring, then concentrate on decorating using icing, piping bags and special tricks of the trade.

Budding bakers (ages 5-8) and a parent will make a fruit pie to share with their favorite doll. There’s nothing more fun than cooking and crafting, so you’ll also decorate AND take home a kid-size apron and a doll-size apron for future baking adventures in your own kitchen! Don’t forget to bring your doll so she can be part of the class, too.
