Get A Sneak Peek at Our Fall Classes!

Our Dean of Deliciousness, Delia Marin Hernandez , has been whipping up new delights – both in the office and behind the kitchen counter.  As Dean of Deliciousness, Delia manages the 600+ cooking classes offered by The Culinary Center of Kansas City and is always oDay of the Deadn the look-out for new and exciting class concepts and instructors with a passion for food, the culinary arts and some pretty mad cooking skills.  Our Dean has also brought her own passion for cooking & teaching with some unique class concepts, such as her recent ‘A Celebration of Food & Love of Frida Kahlo & Diego Rivera‘ class and her upcoming Oct. 30 “Menus & Music” Event entitled Dia De Los Muertos (“Day of the Dead”) Celebration featuring live music by local group Trio Aztlan.

Stand by, folks, because we are getting ready to roll out our new Fall 2015 class schedule here in the next week or so, and we have some amazing new classes and new instructors joining the mix of the best and the brightest culinary educators in the industry!

The Art of SeasoningGet ready for our stew of our popular Flavorful Weekend Nights – the perfect date night cooking class, as we introduce a special partnership with FEAST MAGAZINE! “Midwest Flavors” Cooking Series: The Art of Seasoning – featuring KC’S Own “Wood & Salt” on September 4.

Midwest BBQ Institute‘Ya don’t want to delay on this one folks, we also have a Midwest BBQ Institute Exclusive!  A Weekend in the “Inner Sanctum” of a Competition BBQ Team at The World Series of BBQ – The American Royal!  This ultimate BBQ experience will give you an opportunity to be a part of our award-winning team during the 3-day weekend in October for the 2015 American Royal at Kauffman Stadium.  This one only offers a limited number of spots – don’t be left out!

Among the many new instructors starting the Fall season with us, we have Master French Chef Guillaume Hanriot, owner of Café des Amis, who will teach you how to make a classic Buche de Noel.  And for those looking for bit of spirits to ease into the Fall, join us November 6 for The Spirits of the Celtic Nations: Scotch & Irish Whiskey Tasting featuring “Chief Kilt Inspector” Terry Kast (Celtic Ranch, Weston, MO).

And the biggest sneak peek to what will be a totally amazing Fall Season – back by popular demand, Santa’s Workshop, Gingerbread Santa’s Sleigh & Reindeer with our very own “Main Dish” and Head Elf Laura Laiben & her Merry Elves – two sessions in December!  This one always sells out fast, folks!
