What an inspiring field trip we had on Wednesday!
The folks at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City were kind enough to show us around their new location in the Crossroads district in downtown KC. What a beautiful facility, filled with energetic, caring people!
The passion of the group, led by Micheal Lawrence, shows a dedication to their mission. It’s great to see the growth of the organization and the support it receives from the community, its supporters and the Bigs & Littles involved.
There are an abundance of young men in need of role models in the program. So BBBS-KC is on the lookout for ‘Big Couples’ to get involved. We at The Culinary Center of Kansas City are looking forward to teaming up with BBBS-KC to work toward this goal. Look for more information in the near future about this exciting project…
