Good news! We’re getting the street outside The Culinary Center of Kansas City resurfaced and looking pretty. And more good news – they’re doing the work at night, causing as little disruption as possible to our Downtown Overland Park community.
The City of Overland Park will begin the resurfacing work on Santa Fe Drive between 79th Street and the roundabout just south of 80th Street on Sunday, June 19. The work will be done between 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and they’re set to be done by the 4th of July.
The roads and parking spaces will be open during the day and the sidewalk will be open to businesses at all times. If you are coming to The Culinary Center of Kansas City for nighttime classes or events during the time of the resurfacing, you can park at the locations marked on the map below…
